Third Person Death View

"A Descent into the Maelström" Tells how he and his two brothers made a practice of fishing near the maelström because the risk of the venture was justified by the richness and the quality of the catch. One day, however, they were caught by a hurricane, which drowned one brother, rendered their ship helpless, and propelled it into the maelström.  The story brings me memory of my childhood.
Once my brother and I went to the Virgin Island for vacations and we rent some jet skis, we decide to do a race starting from the shoreline, we hit the gas and stayed at max speed for 2 or 3 minutes, then I hit a little wave and felt like a bump. I went flying tough the air, hit several times the water, then I couldn't get back to the jet skis because it was upside down. Because of the wave I couldn’t breath because they cover me every time. My brother tried to help me out but when I tried to get in the muffler sucked my legs (literally). Then I got a cramp and couldn’t do much and start drowning. Then I could see my self not moving going deeper to the bottom and from no where I got strength a swim to the surface, and someone pick me up on a boat. Latter on I told the story to my friends and no one believes me what happen when I was drowning.
So by this I want to say and related to the story To Build a Fire. I was like the man. I thought I could do it even though my father’s told me I could die, if  I felt from the jet skis in the ocean. I dint listen and race. I thought because I know how to swim and there’s no way I could felt from the jet skis and still, I did it and once I was drowning I realize I could die and  it was hopeless.

White Heron is...

On “The White Heron” story captures my attention as I can compare the nature and the problem we have today in our island. View day to day how the nature is destroyed building buildings everywhere without thinking about the problems this can bring and forgetting the species that live there. The sense of caring for animals and what surrounds us has been lost for minor things everything is based on progress, and forgetting who we really are.

What is happen.

“A White Heron” is a really fascinating story, because you see the tender and compassionate side of the child, when she protected the heron from the stranger. She has a great heart because she left him slept in her house, even if she didn’t know him. In this story we can see that the world change every day about what surround us. Like the animals, our environment, that we live, and we don’t protect it. We have to be a little more considering about what is affecting us. We have to protect our animals, our nature, like the kid in the story, even if we get paid for kill some animal, or destroy something from the nature. We have to make conscience about what is happening in our country, the politics are destroying the woods, a lot of trees that get us oxygen, to build some buildings, houses, mansions, stores or fabrics, that the only thing that they do is contaminate the planet. For all the things that happens in the whole world, we have to begin learn about what is the best for us, for our planet, that we live. We have to make conscience.

Humans think there're gods!

The story of the white heron has a lot to tell us and to reflect the real meaning of nature. To be them and feel what they feel. Because sometime we take advantage of them because we think we can do whatever we want and what suits us better. For example the governors and big companies think they can do what they want, when they want and no matter what they have to do to accomplish it.
The same thing happen on roads kills, peoples kills animals, some time without wanting to do it. Then when they do, they keep on going like nothing happened (Sometime governors and companies kills with out wanting, but keep on going like they didn’t)
Because humans think there a gods and that’s why they defy him, by doing what they want. We want to show our selves that we are gods. Because when you are god you control your surrounding and there’s nothing to stop you because you are the owner. That’s why we destroyed, we killed, and conquered.
The story gives us a lot to reflect, just with a little girl decision and innocence’s of love(nature).

Life is not always EASY....

A white Heron is a story with an excellent theme. I identify with the girl in the story. She was in a position in wich she had to decide between two things she loved. I have been in that position so many times in my life and that’s why I like this story so much. For me, it has been like a reflection of life. We have to understand that we are not going to have everything we want. There are going to be moments in wich we have to decide between two or more things that we really love, leaving some of our goals behind us. I know it is very hard and difficult, but not because of that we are going to give up. We have to learn and understand that life is not an easy thing. Every day, life proves our abilities giving us a lot of hard situations to confront. We have to be always in a positive way in order to make the better decisions and to continue fighting to reach our goals.

Free Runner

I’m a free runner and everything that surrounds me is my equipment to practice my sport. In this I can free myself and there’s no limitation. For example there are always new challenges, so you’re constantly learning and developing new techniques. My friends and I practice in parks where there’s grass and trees (nature). Nature is softer and gentler than urban cities.
Nature forgives and heals when you fall, urban cities don’t. For example I started practicing back flips with a tree; I ran straight to it, put my hand at front looking forward when my hand touch the tree, I put my right leg at front high to my chest, then instantly my left leg was coming up and my head was looking at the sky (I stay focused looking at something, in this way I don’t get scared) and freed my mind. Then when I was in the air I touched my two knees and let the momentum flip me back. Then I touched the ground by balancing with my hands.
Why an urban city doesn’t forgive and nature does? When I was a beginner I started practicing back flips and front flips, since I dint know much I was to scared that I could break my neck and be fatal. So I tried a few times and by the fourth time of doing it, I din’t do it correctly and my back fall in the corner of a sidewalk. I couldn’t move or anything, after five minutes I got up and went home to rest (I dint go to the hospital). Later on I decided to practice in nature and every time I fall now I don’t get hurt like I do in the cities.
So nature inspire me to learn to do new things and urban cities I free myself to do those unbelievable tricks.
